FILA Solutions has once again been recognised as one of Italy’s most sustainable companies

FILA Solutions has once again been recognised for its commitment to corporate sustainability, winning the prestigious Sustainability Award for the fourth year in a row. Promoted by Kon Group in collaboration with ELITE, the award honours corporate excellence in environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. As a global leader in surface treatment solutions, FILA Solutions was named among the top 75 Italian companies achieving the most significant ESG rating improvements, as assessed by Altis Advisory and Reprisk.

“Being recognised as one of the most sustainable companies in Italy is a source of great pride,” said Francesco Pettenon, CEO of FILA Solutions. “Sustainability is a core value of our company and a defining aspect of our offering. More and more consumers are making choices based on the environmental and social impact of products and services, and this philosophy is deeply embedded in FILA’s DNA. We continually invest in research and development to create increasingly eco-friendly products and actively promote initiatives that support the local communities.”

Last year, for example, FILA Solutions supported the Middle School in San Martino di Lupari, the first in the Veneto region to achieve LEED GOLD certification. The company provided specialised products to clean the school’s interior surfaces and protect its exterior cladding, contributing to the well-being of both students and teachers in the town where FILA is based.

The company has also reduced CO2 emissions, increased the use of renewable energy, optimised production processes and improved workplace safety. It has invested in employee training and development to foster an inclusive and stimulating working environment.

FILA is a proud member of Green Building Council Italia and holds ISO 14001 environmental certification. The company has also signed the Climate Pledge, committing to achieving zero CO2 emissions by 2040. With its low environmental impact professional solutions, FILA plays a leading role in Green Pea, the world’s first Green Retail Park. Additionally, 100% of the electricity used at its Padua factory comes from renewable sources.

Governance, which encompasses transparent corporate practices and the inclusion of independent directors on the Board, is another key aspect of FILA Solutions’ strategy aimed at establishing a modern managerial approach and promoting its growth in terms of ethics and compliance.

The company is likewise highly committed to corporate welfare and has signed the Manifesto of Non-Hostile Communication, which fosters a corporate culture rooted in respect and the dignity of every individual.

“This recognition rewards our continuous dedication to innovation and sustainability,” added Alessandra Pettenon, CEO of FILA Solutions. “Sustainability is a journey, not a destination, and we are committed to following this path and working toward a better future for the next generations.”
