A talk entitled “Re-thinking design. Public spaces in a changing city” was held on 17 December as part of the digital edition of Cersaie’s Press Cafés.

NiiProgetti journalist Laura Ragazzola welcomed guest architect Monica Tricario from the practice Piuarch.

Their conversation, which started out from the idea of Rethinking the World of Design, Imagining Solutions and Recreating Sustainable Habitats(the slogan of the webinar series), provided an opportunity to reflect on the creation of innovative forms of housing designed to help us cope with the long period of coexistence with the Coronavirus and to recalibrate our lives following this experience.

Through a continuous exchange of theoretical questions and examples of practical applications and projects, the journalist and her guest discussed the ways in which the urban context is evolving within the ever-changing world of architecture and identified the directions, preferences and trends of the society of the future.
