Cersaie presents the new Press Cafés

While awaiting the 2021 exhibition (Bologna, 27 September – 1 October), Cersaie is once again presenting the Press Cafés, the initiatives organised for the fifth consecutive year in conjunction with 18 leading Italian magazines in the fields of architecture, design, bathroom furnishings and sustainability. The meetings will be held in the form of Zoom webinars and will explore topical issues in the fields of ceramics, bathroom furnishings and contract design in a series of conversations between the magazine editors and the experts they have invited.

The 18 magazines taking part in this fifth edition of the Press Cafés are: Abitare, AD – Architectural Digest, Chiesa Oggi, L’Arca International, DDN – Design Diffusion News, Domus, Elle Decor, Guest, IFDM, Il Bagno Oggi e Domani, Interni, La Repubblica, Marie Claire Maison, NiiProgetti, Platform, QN, Suite and The Plan.

The Press Cafés adopt a very different format to other events at Cersaie and consist of 45-minute-long informal conversations between magazine editors and leading figures from the world of architecture and design. The conversations will explore a wide range of themes from different perspectives: from the new design of architectural spaces in the wake of the Covid-19 emergency to sustainability, from design and colour to bathroom furniture and wellness.

During the Press Café presentation event, held on 23 September in Sassuolo (MO), the moderator Lello Naso, editor-in-chief of Il Sole 24 Ore, interviewed Emilio Mussini, head of promotional activities and trade fairs of Confindustria Ceramica, and the magazine editors to offer a preview of the topics that will be covered in each individual Café.

The Press Cafés will be held at 2.00 pm every Thursday from 1 October to 18 February 2021 and can be attended by Zoom following registration.
