Although dating back only to the 1940s-50s, the Garofano Blu (blue carnation) has become a signature design of the Imola ceramic tradition. Architect Gio Ponti, in his pursuit of innovation, simplified the traditional multicoloured carnation motif to create an elegant design based on just three shades of blue. The result is a decoration that retains a classic style while exuding refined, modern elegance. The design is available on individual pieces or complete tableware sets.
