Progress Profiles opens new branches in the USA, Portugal and the UAE
Progress Profiles, a global leader in the production of technical and decorative finishing profiles and installation systems, has expanded its international presence by opening three new locations: Bolingbrook (Illinois, USA), Lisbon (Portugal) and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
The selection of these three cities was strategic. North America, with its constant urban expansion, values solutions that combine innovation with Italian style; Lisbon, a dynamic city undergoing a process of rapid regeneration, is seeing growing demand for residential and tourist infrastructure; and Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, is a key strategic hub in the building and construction sector, especially for luxury finishes. Establishing a presence in these areas is vital for Progress Profiles, which already has branches in Randolph (New Jersey), Alicante and Dubai. The company is committed to exporting Italian excellence through its extensive range of systems, all strictly manufactured in the Veneto region.
“The opening of these new offices marks a significant milestone in our expansion plan and enables us to be closer to our international customers, providing them with direct, personalised support,” says Dennis Bordin, CEO of Progress Profiles. “We will also be able to respond more quickly to the opportunities presented by rapidly evolving markets.”
Despite the challenges posted by the evolving global economic landscape, Progress Profiles continues to adopt a proactive, dynamic market approach and a pioneering, forward-looking vision. The company reported double-digit turnover growth in 2023 and remains committed to investing in the future, viewing international expansion as essential for long-term growth.
Progress Profiles’ international growth is complemented by significant investments at its headquarters in Asolo, where all production takes place. Last year, the office area was expanded to include an additional floor dedicated to the sales and marketing departments. The company is also about to complete a production area expansion and a new, fully automated 3,000-square-metre warehouse. Next year, the facility will also house the company’s refurbished Academy, which will extend over an area of 300 to 400 square metres. This specialist training centre offers both theoretical and practical courses devoted to key building industry topics and current installation regulations.
With nearly 40 years of experience and an established leadership position in the Italian market, Progress Profiles underscores its commitment to internationalisation and innovation through these numerous projects, reinforcing its status as a global leader in the field of technical and decorative profiles and installation systems.
